Basic Training Completed Ronnie Curtis, son of Mrs. Al dee Curtis, 606 EF. Aztec, has fin ished basic training at Lackland AFB, and is now stationed in Amarillo, Tex., starting his tech nical training. He is studying to be a jet bomber mechanic. Exhibits Paintings Mrs. Josephine Battese, 1611 Red Rock Drive, and her son Stanley, who is an arts and crafts teacher in the public junior high school at Shiprock, attended the first Scottsdale Annual Indian Painting Exhibition recently. About 200 paintings were shown in this first exhibit, including five submitted by Battese The Battese’s were houseguests of the Roy Jennings family of Phoenix while attending the Scotts dale exhibit.
