OBITUARYThe funeral of Mrs. P. Morse of of Onapa was held Saturday, March 1, in, Onapa. A former pastor of the Onapa Baptist Church, Rev Honeycutt, was in charge of theservices. He was assisted by the pastor, Rev. R. L. Byler.Mrs. Morse, who was barn Mary Maggie Cottrell, an December 9, 3879, died early Wednesday morning, February 26, 1947. On November 25, 1900, she was united in marriage to P. Mors.*. To this un-ior were born eight children, seven girls and one boy.Mrs. Morse is survived by the husband and seven children; Horner Morse, and Mrs. Reheckah Ellis o* Chocotah; Mrs. Zona Williamg Mrs. Hazen tlallum, Mrs. Dolly Webb and Mrs. Frana Malicott of Arvint, California, and Mrs. Lfly Minugh of Farme rsville, California; one sister, Mrs. Henry My era, and two brother, Tom and Mark Cottrell; sixteen grand children and one great grand child; and A host of friends.She became a member of the Baptist Church early in life, and has been a member of the Onapa Baptist Church for about twenty-five years. Burial was in Green-lawn Cemetery at Checotah.
