Second Presbyterians Buy a Pipe OrganA 2-manual pipe organ has been bought by the Second Presbyterian congregation from the Reuter Pipe Organ company at Lawrence and will be installed in their church at Fourth and Market early in IS48, according to an announcement made today by the Rev. Paul L. Curpentei', pastor.Mrs. C. C. Underwood, Jr., headed the committee authorized by the congregation to negotiate with the Reuter company. Other members were Mrs, Glen Wilmore, Mrs. Clifford E. Frost, Mtss Ami Davies, Leroy W. Raynolds and J. Trevor Lewis. According to J. Manuel Hughes, who directed the financial campaign, indications are that the SG.000 organ will be completely paid for when it is installed. Assisting Mr. Hughes in the campaign were Mrs. L. J. Lewis, Mrs. E. G. Sloan, Miss Margaret- Griffith, Miss Ethel Hendrickson, secretary-treasurer; Dr. D. R. Davis, Evan W. Roberts and Herbert L. Sloan.
