Civilians may attend the dance as invited guests of soldiers of the Field.A touch of the carnival spirit will be in evidence 011 this occasion1Several nationally famous acts from the Ringling Brothers-Bar-1111111 Baily Circus, now in winter quarters in Sarasota, will be presented during the evening for the entertainment of the soldiers and their guests. This is a courtesy presented the personnel of Drew Field by the owners of this internationally know circus, made possible through the close personal friendship existing between the famous circus family and Col. Melvin B. Asp, Commanding Officer of the Army Air Base, Drew Field.Among the acts from Ringling. Brothers-Barnum Baily Circus to be presented throughout the evening will be lovely little Elly Ardelty, one of the greatest headline trapeze acts in the world. Although Miss Ardelty is a shy demure person she includes tricks in her routine that few porformers have tried to imitate. Massimil-liano Truzzi, easily the world’s foremost juggler will perform almost unbelievable stunts with electric light globes, flaming torches and spinning plates. The Wallendas, known throughout the entertainment world for their thrilling feats on the tight wire will also lend their talents for the crowd. Albert Powell, whose thrilling aerial feats have won him international fame, will give a startling exhibition.Doors will open X 7:00 o’clock.
