MAX PHILLIPS DEVELOPING AN EATONTOWN PROPERTY. The Development Is West of Sun eagles Country Club and is Bound ed by Tinton Avenue and Hope Road—Two Houses Started. Max Phillips of Eatontown, pro prietor of Suneagles country club, in developing tract of land west of his golf course. The new development is bounded on the north by Tinton avenue and on the east by Hope road. Mr. Phillips is building two houses on the tract.The buildings are of frame and the lots are 150x200 feet. They front on Hope road, facing the golf course. The houses are of North ern European country style, but they will be distinctly different in appear ance. Each house will have nine rooms, four tiled bathrooms, a tiled lavatory and an alcove with a south ern exposure. The houses will be heated with gas and open fireplaces will be in the living room, dining room and two bedrooms. Garages will be on the lots. The houses will cost about $40,000 each. The build ing work is being done by the Tin ton construction company, under the supervision of Henry Hasenburger, who is secretary and architect of the company. The houses are expected to be completed in May. Mr. Phillips expects to sell the houses to members of the Suneagles club for country homes. If he finds a ready market for the first two houses he will build more. Roads will be cut through the property and modern improvements will be made available to each house. No lots will be smaller than 150x200 feet.
