This proposition embodies some features which are absolutely necessary, tf the theatre la what it should be— commodious, well seated, fire-proof, modern and full-sized stage, etc. Anything short of this would be far short of Moline's requirements. They might have done ten years ago, but we are to build a play house now, and not only for the present but the future; and as everybody believes, the future holds great things tn store for Moline.Such a theatre cannot be built and equipped for thirty or forty thousand dollars. It will cost at leaat 860.000, for‘the uecessary features and the desirable features are expensive.
