Odum did a stint with Head East in the early 1970s before beingdrafted into the Army. Now he’s back. Also new are guitarist Tony Gross and bassist Mark Boatman. But, under Boyd, it’s the same old sizzling rock music previously associated with the band.GREATEST COUNTRY HITS OF THE ’70s - Volume 2 (Columbia)— A fine roundup of country tunes. The songs include Johnny Cash’s “Ghost Riders in the Sky,” George Jones’ “The Grand Tour,” Johnny Paycheck’s “Georgia in a Jug,” and Tammy Wynette’s “Another Lonely Song.”
