W. Moore last Saturday.Mr. Will Thomas and family of Newton county spent last Saturday night and Sunday with relatives here.Jim Craine arrived a few days ago from Monticello and and will be at home at his father’s, Mr. Marques Craine.Misses Fannie Mae Moore and Pauline McClure spent last Saturday night and Sunday in Jackson as the guest of Miss Cassie Maddox.J. H. Ellidt and family arrived last Saturday from Griffin and will be at home' to their friends in a few days at the Pounds place at the Camp Ground.Mrs. Will Jolly returned last Monday from Jenkinsburg, where she spent a few days with sickrelatives and reports them no%better, we are sorry to state.A few bright sunshiny days and a few days of rain, stopping the boys from plowing a few days —but I tell you some of them scratched up a few rows of cotton stalks.W. M. Lummus and family returned last Saturday from South Georgia where they went last fall to live, but becoming dissatisfied hence back home they came. For the present they will be at home near T. E.
