Si ruck Silver. rEld. J. I. Thompson, now living in I Phelps county, but formerly a resident ^ of this county, called on The Cyclone Tuesday, and presented it with a piece of ore supposed to contain silver. It was found in Arlington towqshity in this county, near the Frqnkfc switch, on the Perry Ilelton farip. Specimens have been sent to Holla to be assayed.—Kiehland Cyclone.Of this find the St. Louis Chronicle j of March 3, says;! fc-The silver ore discovered in the j bluffs on the farm of Perry Ililton in I Pulaski Countv has been assayed at ; two government mints and pronounced of the best quality.
