Avery, Judge of the Henry county Probate j | Court, died at his residence, in Clic-| ton, on Tuesday, the 2J of March, 1875, after a short iiluess, His disease was pneumonia. He was taken on Tuesday, aud wj=« sick just cue week.He oma horn on the 14'h day of November, 1822, in White' enmity, Tennessee. He earae to this fcltate with his father, Mr. Henry Awery, wlio settled on Tebo, on the l«t day of March, 1832, Judge Avery W*ng at the time about ten years old,.He Has resided ever since in this county, near the same place, until he moved, to Clinton goma two month* ago. Judge Avery was supposed to be the oldest resident of Henry county, as there were only one or two other families living in the limits of what is■ow Henry county at the time he ¥ •came to it, none of whom are now citizens of the county. He grew up with the county and helped to make it what it is.
