Brutal Murder of t^oOmon Men.Wilson Arthur and John Mace, two men who hate be£n quite prominent in the Union cause, were brutally murdered by the rebels a few days j ago in Webster county, Va. Mr. Ar-I thur had acted as a guide to the fed-! cral troops in one or two instances ' and Mace was a Methodist class ■ leader, and public meetings of the I Methodists were held at his house, j which was sufficient cause in the es-; timation of the rebels for his murder.' j These men, it is said, tVere xAilrdered* j in revenge for the burning and killing which took place m Stroud’sj jcli Inver and Laurel Creek, under the direction of Col.
