than ten dollar*.7.—That a Tax of Twelve-and-a-balf cents, on every hundred dollars worth ot taxable property, be levied and imposed upon all such property Within the corporation ol Moulton, for the year 1858.8.—That a Tax of ten dollars be levied upon all circuses, shows and exhibitions, of every kind, for profit, and that the Tax Collector is hereby required to collect the same.9.—That any person or persons, who shall hitch his borse, mule, mare, ox or jack, to the fence, gate or shade tree, of any person within the Corporation, shaft for every such violation,! |fiay not more than one dollar and not1 w eus than fifty cents.10.—That each person liable to work on the streets ot said Corporation, for the year 1858, shall be exempt therefrom, by paying to the Treasurer three dollars, in advauce of the work, or by paying fifty cents a day for each day he may be requir* ed to work, in the morning before the Overseer commences his day’s labor.11.—That any slave who shall be proven guilty of selling or trading in whiskey,or any kind of ardent spir its, or keep the same to give away, shall receive, tor every such offence, not less than thirty-nine lashes, and not more than fifty lashes, well laid on his bare back; and the master who wilfully permits any such conduct to! be carried on by his slave, shall for.
