FLOYD FERGERSONFloyd Fergerson, a 31-year resident of Ford Heights, died Sunday, Feb. 28, at Prairie Manor Nursing Home, Chicago Heights.Services will be noon Friday at True Light Missionary Baptist Church, Ford Heights, with the Rev. Andrew Hendrix officiating. Burial will be in Mount Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood.Visitation will be 1 to 7 p.m. today at Robert McCullough Funeral Home, Ford Heights, and 11:30 a.m. until time of service at the church.Mr. Fergerson was born Oct. 8, 1928, in Bloomsville, S.C. He was a custodian at Prairie State College.He is survived by three daughters, Fannie Mae of Oakland, Calif., and Hestene Bowman and Mary Ann, both of Queens, N.Y.; five sons, James of Oakland, Calif., Floyd Jr., Michael, Charles and Jerome, all of Queens; his mother, Lulu Robinson of Ford Heights; a sister, Hannah Robinson of Ford Heights; a brother, Bill Robinson of Fort Heights; nine grandchildren; and a special friend, Alberta Crim.
