Total value of the items is estimated at §500. March 2: Fred W. Hassman, Rate 1, Box 1414, reports a set of sockets, an 18-inch pipe wrench and a jack for a pickup were stolen from the Jarvis Farm. ‘Total value of the items is about $125, March 1; Paul LaPage, 607 Slate, reports someone smeared grease and shaving cream all over his car and dis connected wires to the distribu tor, Feb. 28: Set. Feb. 28: John Lucas, 02 Sunset, says someone shot out the windshield of four resi dences with BB or pellet guns, it will cost about 4S to re place the glass. Feb, 27; Fred Weber, 920 W. Pine St, says someone around 3 or 4 am, threw a rock, breaking the glass in his trail er door. Feb, 27; Bill Jarvis advised the Sheriff's Officehat some one had stolen a ton of hay from his farm east of town during the night of Feb. 25. Feb. 27: Darrell McCauley, Star Route 1, Box 104, says someone stole about 2,500 pounds of mile grain from the Cotton Building at the fair ground. Airman Julian Armendariz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Armen dariz of 410 S. Ruby, Deming, has completed basic training at Lackland AFB, Tex. He is remaining at Lackland for training as a security police man, Airman Armendariz is a 1970 graduate of Deming High School. His wife is the farmer Sylvia M. Jimenez of 413 §, Ruby, Deming, The good old days: that was: when you could live on ten dol lars a week —but you only nade spyven.
