Carpentier said today in announcing publication ol the 1955edition of the booklet, “Official' Listof Counties and Incorporated Municipal ities-of-Jllinoi s.The new villages and city bring thestate's total to 1,175, Secretary Car-pentier said.The villages incorporated in the two year period are Gifford and Royal in Champaign county, Albers in Clintoncounty, Middlebury in Kane county, Oreana in Macon county and Oak -Grove Park in Woodford county. The city is Hometown in Cook county.The yillage of Torino in Will county, with a population of nine persons, is the state's smallest municipality, compared with-the-eity-of- -Chicago's 3,620,€62, Secretary Carpentier said.
