Million Dollar Housing Project Believed Assured For SilsbeeFinal word on the huge residential housing development here is expected next week, as engineers, architects and paper mill officials are completing their surveys this week. The project, which will be on an 80-acre tract of land which the paper mill secured an option on two weeks ago, will consist of about one hundred new homes to be sold to new employees of the mill.S. B. Zisman, planning consultant of O'Neil Ford and S. B. Zisman Associated Architects and Planning Consultants, has headed the survey working with William Tamminga of the architectural firm of Ford-Colley-Tamminga. These people have secured commitments from the various utilities companies, the city, and others with regard to facilities to the project. So far as is known now, nothing stands in the way of approval of the job.Such a tremendous development will mean a great deal to the future of the city and the area, and it has aroused the interest of everyone here. Preliminary plans call for a beautifully landscaped area, with homes ranging upwards to $20,000.It was also learned this week that the company has secured options on additional acreage in that vicinity belonging to Bruce Watts.
