CASE AGAINST FRED R. KREIGER DISMISSEDThe editor, in justice to himself, wishes to print on article concerning- the cases in regard to the Little Motor Knr Co.. which appeared in a daily papor of Dallas last week:“At the Friday morning session of Court. Judge Wilson dismissed the indictments against W. T, Carlton of Wichita Fails and Fred It. Kreiger of Grand Prairie, who were eh urged with misuse of the mails in connection with the case. The motion to dismiss the cases was made by District Attorney K. K Taylor, who saidthe government, was without e\i-donee to convict the defendants. Similar charges against. J. H. Crow were di.-missed rove nil days ago.”The t ditor of the Texan here and now, fitter the case lias been disposed of, wishes to make the following statement:We did not know, nor oven hsul an intimation, that the Little Motor Kar Company was anything but a legitimate concern when we accepted the advert i semen ts representing them in our paper or when we wrote arti-: cles concerning their activities and; accomplishments. We had confidence | in the officials, and if they are guil- ; tv, no one was more completely fool- J ed than we were. Also, we wish to j thank our many friends who have; so generously withheld judgment in our case, and who stood by us so loyally when it was announced that I ; was indie l td by the federal Grand Jury. We have no malice in our heart, against, anyone who was instrumental in bringing about our indictment, nor ill will toward the Grand Jury which actually returned the indictment, realizing that, those juries are empanelled from the very best of our citizenship; but will state that we believe it is possible for the bo't of men, or body of men, to misunderstand and misconstrue the intent of a person in every case. We; are happy that the United htales government, has such a true, conscientious prosecutor to rep re cut it as Mr. R. K. Taylor, who looked thoroughly into the merits of our case and when he was convinced that we had no criminal intent, made a motion to dismiss.
