GREENUP-MERRILL -Herbert Greenup of this vicinity, and Miss Julia Merrill of near Astoria, were united in marriage last Saturday afternoon at Lewistovvn. The ceremony was performed at 3 o'clock at the M. K. parsonage, by Rev. Swisher, a former pastor of the Methodist church at Pennington Point. They were accompanied by Gerald Greenup, brother of the bridegroom, and the Misses Clara and Helen Merrill, sisters of the brtde. After the ceremony the wedding party returned to the Merrill home where supper was served.The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Greenup, and is a progressive young farmer. His bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Merrill of Astoria,(the latter recently deceased), and is a most estimable young lady, being one of Fulton county’s successful young school teachers. Both are worthy young people and have the best wishes of a large circle of friends. They have gone to housekeeping 011 the Fred Bruner farm near Tennessee.1
