Fairbanks GirlGalled by DeathMiss Ragna Hofseth, tho popularyoung lady who was taken suddenly illon the afternoon of Januarv 2‘J at the•Re vans houst in Fairbanks, where she was employed as a waitress, passed away at St. Joseph's hospital on the morning of February 2.The young lady was operated on the day following her sudden seizure, and it was discovered that one of tho larger blood vessels of the abdominal cavity was ruptured, and it is probable that the great loss of blood before the operation rendered her too weak to overcome t ho effects of the ordeal.In Lhe following two or three days she suffered a number of hemorrhages, terminating in unconsciousness and death. Miss Iiofseth was a native of Norway and came to Alaska three years ago from England. She leaves a mother and two sisters in Aalesund, Norway, two brothers in the Iditarod,I and one on the Outside.-
