ALDERMAN NICHOLS DEAD.Alderman W. XL H. Nichols diedThursday night at about 11 o’clock at his homs, 815 Congress si reel. Shortly before death came the stricken alderman willed somewhat and made all arrangements for hia funeral, even to tbs choosing o! the pall hearts. Do* ceased was about 70 years of age and was a shoemaker by trade. Mr. Nichols was elected alderman ol the Sixth ward two jean ago, his term of office would expired on April 5. Mr. Nichols was a member of the Masonic and. Odd Follow orders and also of Eagle Foal t). A. It,A widow and seven children,- theyoungest of whom is 4 years, are lefVl to to mourn hia luss. The funeral will take place from ibe house at two o'clock on Sunday tad will be conducted by the Masonic fraternity. The 1.0,0.F. and G. A. R. will aisoattuud.
