Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Knutson of Eldora, the former Jane Smith, are the parents of a daughter, Kandace Marie, born Feb. 20, at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 3% ounces, and is the couple’s first child. Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Smith of rural Iowa Falls and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Geisinger and Mr, and Mrs Harold Knutson of Eldora are the grandparents. Great-grandparents are Mrs. Ella Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dieters of Eldora. Mr. Knutson is employed at Gehrke Construction in Eldora.
