Bet you'll never guess whatthis coming week is! Public School Week! It comes aroundonce a year and its the parents’ chance to come and see where we spend five days of the week, C’CHS’s Open House will be Thursday nightfrom 7-9 p.m. Everybody besure and invite vour ma and pato come.In case ya missed it. the Student-Faculty game endedwith a win for the teachers anda win for the students. Thegirls beat the women facultyand the bovs lost tomenfaculty.Sadie Hawkins Day turnedout to be a foot stompin’, thighslappm*. hee-hawin’ good time Thursday. NHS membersas well as a few other spiritedindividuals, including some teachers, ioined in thejoined infestivities of the dav bvsportingwas laughter galore as the NHS entertained the studentbody with a circus-Dogpatchstyle. Fire - dancing, theworld s tirst integrated siamese twins, and pie-throwinghighlighted the antics.The Future Homemakersgot into the spirit of things byselling special ribbons to girls.It was the boys’ job to try tomake a girl wearing such a ribbon talk to him. If hesucceeded he got the ribbon.and the boy with the mostribbons got in free to the NHSSadie Hawkins Dav danceThursday night. I hear SteveRose was going to towngetting those ribbons! I guessno girl could pass up a chanceto talk to him.Play practice is going strongfor the Drama Department.Three separate groups arespending their afternoonspreparing for the “Night One-Acts to be presented the middle of this month.Max Duncan. John Cobb.Ronald Franke. Thomas Fran-ke. and Ben Powell leftThursday afternoon to spend the weekend in Denton at thestate Science Paper reading contest. Max advanced to theInternational Science Fair lastyear and the other Einsteins aren’t too bad themselves sowe were well represented. Listen for how thev did onthe announcements Monday.Don’t know if you got theword yet, but we aren’t goingto go back to the regular school time schedule Monday as wasthought.
