Genealogical research fascinates her and she has completed two years of genealogical training. She is a fourth year Seminary student and teaches a class of five-year-olds in Sunday School. After graduation she plans to study either physical therapy or speech pathology. Darla Ree Packer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn W. Packer of Franklin, a senior at Preston High. Darla Ree is a member of the Pep Club and Thespian Club and enjoys participating in speech activities. She finds science interesting and was the recipient of the Navy award for her entry at Ricks College Science Fair last spring. Darla Ree enjoys sewing and makes most of her own clothes. Her other hobbies are reading and sculpturing.
