Ashton Sees Big Dog RacesAshton. Ida.--Tud Kent, American dog raring champion for 1921, carried a way honors again on Washingtons Birthday in the annual Ashton dog lerhy, held in connection with a local nldwlnter festival. Kent defended his honors against a field of eight contenders, Including one woman, some of them considered the best mushers in this country. Kent made the twenty-five-mtle course in 2 hours and 35 minutes, a mark considerably lower than that he set last year, when he broke the world's record for the distance. William Kooch finished second In 2 hours and 4A minutes, and George Pilcher took third money m 2. hours and 49 minutes.
