THIS COUPLE FROM MARSHALL LOVE THEIR ALASKA BESTMr. and Mrs. W. E. Blanker, of Marshall, who arrived on the Northwestern and are guests at the Seward hotel, will start Monday on the 1,200 mile journey home. They have 14 dogs and a complete outfit for the mush.Blanker has property on Willow creek and Disappointment in the Marshall district. They have with ♦hem the two largest nuggets taken from Willow creek last season, one a long slug of gold is worth $79. They went outside in September, and were not very well pleased with things in the states after four years on the frontier.They do not know what courtesy means, down in Los Angeles,” said Mrs. Blanker, and I was poorly impressed the rest of the coast towns% As for me 1 would rather have a pair of overalls and snow shoes and a dog team in Alaska, than many fine automobiles and live outside.
