Damage Suit Likely.The ' appointment of Mrs. Henry Haddemap as administratrix of' the estate of her husband, who was killed while crossing' the ' Illinois Central belt lino tracks a few weeks ago, is-taken to indicate a suit for. damages' on behalf of the estate. • Haddeman was employed as teamster for Birrt. lott . .Mch’arlane and was at : the time leaving for the country at about 7:00 a. m„ for the purpose of hauling gooda to- the city. He was struck by an engine which was returning to the round house, his head being badly crushed and death being instantan-laneous.. The coroners Jury sitting on the case failed to find anyone responsible or place liability- far the accident, it is understood tbat- efforts are being put forth to settle'the case and If* that cannot be brought about the attorneys will Institute, suit, for damages. The bond given by the administratrix is very low and it 33 currently stated the estate Is worth not • to • exceed 5M, the accidental death placing the widow upon her own resources to earn a livelihood, having seven small children to sup-part.
