Mrs. Kathryn BiggarBLACK RIVER FALLS — Mrs. Kathryn Biggar, 78, died Friday at Black River Memorial Hospital where she had been hospitalized since suffering a strokeJan. 28.Mrs. Biggar was born Aug. 3,1895, in Black River Falls. She had operated Marsh Department Store and later with her husband, Ray, operated the Biggar Store before retiring in 1952.Surviving are a step-son, Donald Biggar, Appleton; two step - daughters, Mrs. Marjorie VanHorn,Winona, Minn., and Mrs.Josephine Harcourt,Phoenix, Ariz.A prayer service will beat 1:30 p.m. Monday at Torgerson Funeral Chapel, Black River Falls, with the Rev. Richard Hansen officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.Friends may call at the chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be given to the radio fund of the United Methodist Church, Black River Falls.
