Successful in Blind Auction At Cordes Hardware Co. Lyman Gruber, of Redding town ship, placed the successful bid for an Oliver surkey plow at the Cordes Hardware Company yesterday after noon, in a blind bid auction. Other features of the Oliver Day observance were the presentation of a plowshare to W. C. Seifres, of Crothersville; a hay fork to Henry Rust, of Cortland; a shovel to Dan Thompson, of Cortland; and a hall of binder twine to William d. Borch erding, of Route 7, Seymour.
