OBITUARYAnother of 'the Huou’s pioneers passed away on Monday last in ‘the person of Mrs Ellen Sweeney, wife of the late Jas. Sweeney (who predeceased his wife by several years) The deceased lady was a resident of Ranclairh for many vears and had a wide circle of Mends She leaves a ffrowii-irp family or six children, with 37 grand-cnildrcn and '25 greatgrandchildren She was married three 'times Tier youngest son. Pie, W. T. Wood, of Ronolagh. is at present in France and (there arc severalof her grandsons also at the front. Deceased was 82 years of aye at dim time of her death, which took place at Hobart The funeral service was conducted alt the Huonvillc cemetery on Wednesday by the Rev. Gohld-worthy, of Ranelagh. and was attended by a very large assemblage of relatives and friends from all parts of the Huon.
