his home.* + *Hazel Spellman Recovers.—HaielSpellman, ihe 14-year-old girl found aerioualy wounded beside her dead mother in a barn near Henson, six weeks ago, has been removed from a Paola hospital to her home near there. The girl virtually has recovered from the wounds which at first were thought fatal. The charge of first degree murder brought Hgainst the girl a month ago to prevent her removal to a Kansas City hospital was withdrawn just before she left. The shooting, which resulted in the death of Mra. L. T. Spellman, the girl's mother, attracted wide attention and has not been cleared up.♦ * *
