Guthrie (Oklahoma) State (Capital, February 25: The funeral of DanielHardman, who died at the Methodist hospital Weduesday, took place tlt; day at Summit View cemetery and was conduct'd by Rev. Copeland of the German Baptist church, of which organization Mr. Hardtnan wsa a member.The deceased was born in Wayne county, Iudiaua, in 1885, thus being over 75 years old at the time of his death. He was married to Miss Sarah Rohrer in 1859 and moved from Indiana to Missouri in 1884, coming to Guthrie in 1895.kHis wife passed away before him, but he is survived by two sons and one daughter, hie son John Hardman, being the only one of his children that lived here, and hiB daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Hardman Pigeon, of In dianapolis, and his son Daniel, could not be reached in time to get here. Four brothers survive—Benjamin, of north of Cambridge City, Gabriel, of Hagerstown, Eli, of Muncie, and Joel, offHuntington county./Ivir. Hardman was only at the hospital for eighteen days, pneumonia being the immediate cause of hie death, although lie had suffered from a cancer on bis foot for several years. He leaves many friends that sympathize with his children in the loss of their father, who was liked and respected by all who knew him.
