Foiper an i Miss Alice I'awkins. were appointed to draft a Constitutionand Ity-Jjuwa for tLe government of theassociation : it wai decided that thefirst session should he he held at Kicht Mile Urove, March J sth, 1871, at wtime, the committee are to present the Constitution and hvdaws fir adoption.On motion, \\\ A. Patterson, wan chosen to deliver a lecture, to the Alt;so-iatiop Oil the best methods of imparting instruction*^ On motion, Mr. Murfin, and all the friends to education are cordially invited to meet with us at the first session of the Association.Miss Frank Myers, and Mbs AliceBradley, each favored the Institute with some of their choice selections of music.| The following resolutions were presented by the committee, ond were unanimously adopted by the Institute.Htsohnl, That we recognize the importance of a Tea hers’ Institute as ameans of increasing our knowledge of the principles of governing and instructing t lie pupils of our common schools.ii^o/ia/.
