IS. Cooper, manager of the plant here, says he is shipping out about 40 carloads of brick a month, some of it going to Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico and throughout the state of Texas. The brisk made here is known asthe “Acme Lumbermen’s Special.” The Acrue is the sales agency forthe brick.The Bridgeport company has seven plants in Texas.The Mexia brick factory is located on the T. B. V. tracks in the northwest section of the industrial district.
