PATAL ACCIDENT A fatal accident occurred in Loup City on Tuesday of last week in which a former resident of Polk county met her death. The World- Herald has the following to say: “Hony the town of Loup City, Neb., went to help a distressed family is told by H. H. Lovell, insurance man. Mr. Lovell was in Loup City show ing the death of a gasoline explosion’ of Mrs. Charles Lutz. Six children and a husband, unable by illness to work, were left. “Merchants tore up every bill held against the family and a fund of $200 was raised for them. In addi tion the children were clothed. The children will be taken into Loup City families unless parents of Mrs. Lutz, coming from Canada, wish to take them.” . Mrs. Lutz was formerly Miss Verva Simpson, and at the time of her marriage, eight years ago, was teaching at Liberty and making her home with the G. G. Richards family. Mrs. Lutz died on Wednesday morn ing last week. She was a cousin to T. C. Simpson and Mrs. B. S. Cal houn, former residents of this vicin ity
