Several Fatal Accidents and Epidemic of Fires. Special Dispated to The Times. BLUEFIELD, W. VA.. February 3— Mr. John N. Bowie, familiarly known as “Uncle John,” the popular clerk at the Bluefield Inn, died last night after a lingering illness. He was about sixty years of age, and had been in the hotel business nearly all of his life. St. L. Tierce, employe of Sudduth and Faileyr, at Keystone, was fatally injured by an engine on yesterday. One colored man was killed and apothe: fatally hurt by train No. 3 at Ennis yes terday. The usual verdict of drunk and asleep on truck was rendered. Vince Shrader, wanted for robbing the post-office at Rocky Gap, Bland county, Virginia, about one year ago, was arrested here on yesterday for that crime.
