FRIDAY, MARCH 1, 1806, Married. ‘At the residence of Joseph Whiting ave and one-half miles south-west of Alta, Wednesday evening, February 20 at 7:30 o'clock occurred the mar riage of Mr. Theron Conversa and Miss Anna B. Whiting, Rev. R. Bar nip. performing the ceremony, the ring service beings used. The bride is a young lady of many graces, and the groom is one of our enterprising young farmers who is well and favorably known in this vicinity. The tim ble young couple were married in the presence of sixty-two of their rela tives and friends, who, after congrat ulations were over, partook of the bountiful supper. The older folks left for their various homes soon after the supper had been disposed of, auch the younger ones spent the night in dlancing and had a royal good time, but the trio was not all carried on by those inside the house, as the charavari scrowd came in for a liberal share. Mr. and Mr.. Converse will move on to a farm one and a half miles south at Diamond Center where the well wishs of hosts or friends will ac company them. Norton Converse, set sad trots, + Suit shaker, toothpick Airs Hunting and Alle Converse silver but ter knife and sugar shell. Zuella Lovelace, pair tray cloths. Calvin Lovelace, table spread.
