Peter StefanichPeter Stefanich, 90, ci 1122 N. Center St., died June 20 at St. Joseph Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Dragutas, Yugoslavia, he was a Joliet resident over 60 years.Retired from the Phoenix Manufacturing Co. for over 20 years, he was a member of the St. Francis Society No. 20, KSKJ, Holy Name Seniors of St. Joseph and Holy Family Society.The Stefanichs celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary June 5.Survivors are his widow, the former Anna Sotlich; five daughers, Mary and Ann Stefanich, Mrs. Charles (Betty) DeJule, Mrs. Stanley (Catherine) Merzlock, and Mrs. Robert (Jean) Wolz, all of Joliet; five sons, Joseph, Frank, Lou, Peter Jr. and Edward, all of Joliet; 14 grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren; several nieces and nephews.O’Neil Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. Services were held at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph Church with burial in the church cemetery.
