Dorothy ElbertsDorothy A. Elberts, nee Schreiner, 69, of 619 N. Hickory St., died June 23 at St. Joseph Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Joliet, she was a lifetime resident and was a member of the Sacred Heart League of St. John’s Catholic Church.Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Maynard (Evelyn) Werner of Mokena,Mrs. George (Mary Lou) Rouleau of Mokena and Mrs. Stanley (Donna) Loebaka Jr. of Joliet; seven grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Helen Alberts, Miss Teresa Schreiner, Mrs. Elizabeth Leighton, Miss Cecil Schreiner; two brothers, Anthony and Charles Schreiner, of Joliet; numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services were held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. from St. John’s Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.
