Samuel LucentiSamuel J. Lucenti, 52, of 2351 E. Washington St., died June 22 at Silver Cross Hospital after a sudden illness. A native of Joliet, he was a World War II veteran and a welder for the U.S. Steel Co. for 30 years.Besides his widow, the former Theresa Pestaino, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Catherine) Lauterbach, and Mrs. Paul (Kathleen) Turley; five grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph Fragale and James Lucenti; two sisters, Mrs. Constance Herr and Mrs. Rose Thieben, all of Joliet ; and numerous nieces and nephews.Services were held Friday at 9 a.m. from the Gerald Dames and Sons Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. from St. Mary Magdalene Church. Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cem et er y.
