Thoren hall, dedicated Sept. 18,1901,wasnamedinhonorof Dr. H. H. Thoren, president of the college in 1900-06. A central landmark on the campus, it contains classrooms, studios and practice rooms for music students. Thoren hall also provides facilities for speech and drama activities, including an auditorium and houses the book store.
