I960, was the day when construction of the Supersweet Feed mill began in Le Mars.By November of that year, the Supersweet Mill held its grand opening w’ith 1.500 Iowa and South Dakota farmers in attendance.Omar M. EUefson was appointed as the first plant manager in 1960.The plant is equipped to produce formula feed for beef cattle, dairy' cattle, swine and poultry.The entire enterprise consists of the production plant and warehouse, also 15 feed ingredient bins, where the grain is stored before processing and 19 finished feed bins in which the feed is stored until it is purchased by the fanners.The Supersweet Milling Co. is loc ited on highway 75 south.
