Mai nerd has Just returned from a world tour, and was welcomed home by a representative gathering of over 100 men. all residents of the dU-trict. An Aid. Murdock, presiding, with Aid. C. Nairn aa secretary. Among thoee present were Mr. J. McGrath, M.L.A. for Rockdale, Aid. N. Maopherson (Mayor of Hurstvllle), Aid. C. R. Sweeting (Mayor of Kogarah), Mr. J. R. Scott (Town Clerk, Rockdale), Mr, A. Robb (Deputy Town Clerk, Rockdale). Aid. P. J. Ferry (Chairman, St George County Council), Mr. H. N. Bennett (County Clerk). Mr. Thompson (Electrical Engineer, County Council), Aid. Gosling, McDonald, C. Naim (Rockdale Council). Mr. R. H.Mackenzie (Bexley Progress Association), Mr J. Barwell (President, Bexley Golf Club), and Mr. Keith Perry (President, Bowling Club), Mr. C. Hawkins (President, Bexley Chamber of Commerce) and Mr. W. B. Bennett (President St. George Arts Society).
