Preparations for the automobile races at the Stark co fairgrounds Wednesday afternoon, under the auspices of the American Legion, have been completed, and between 15 and 20 cars have been entered The number will be cut down to 12 by qualification heats, according to present plans. While a great deal of interest centers around the five Canton con testants, Curley Grandel, Ernie Jones, Shorty Drexel, Don Burke r and John Borco, the talent entered here is of such high caliber that before the race is over, it wouldn't be surprising if one of the other drivers were holding the lead. To Ernie Jones the race is going to give him an excellent opportun ity to gain revenge for the defeat which Grande gave him here Dec oration Day In that race Jones and Grande were running nip and tuck for about 25 miles. Then Jones was forced out for a short time after crashing into a car which had stopped on one of the curves. When Jones got his car going again, he encountered engine trouble and never could catch up to Grandel. Wednesday he's figur ing on causing the local champion a lot of trouble by setting a fast pace from the start of the race
