Five Dogs Mangle Woman.San Mateo, Cal. —Mrs. Allen, wife of Dr. P. V. A. Allen, was attacked last evening by five ball terriers belonging to her husband, who is one of the best known dog fanciers in the state. Mrs. Allen heard the dogs snarling in a rear yard of her home, j She found them fighting. When she tried to separate them they turned on her and mangled her so severely that her condition is grave. The flesh was torn from her right shoulder, her forehead and right hand were bitten and tom and her limbs badly lacerated.
