Old Tipton Residents, Special to the Indianapolis Journal. TIPTON, Ind., June 20.—Zalmon Disbro, aged ninety-one, died at his home near Nor manda, northeast of this city, this morn ing. Mr. Disbro was the oldest resident of Tipton county. He was born in Reneca county, New York, and came to this county fifty years ago. He was the father of eleven children, seven of whom survive. His wife died several years ago at an ad vanced age. * * * Philip McCorkle, aged exr as an old resident of this city, died at his home this morning from a complication of diseases. Other State Necrology. TERRE HAUTE, Ind., June 29. — The body of W. H. Donaldson, who died in St. Louis Saturday night, was brought here for burial. Mr. Donaldson was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Donaldson, a brother of former Mayor Frank Donald son and of Mrs. George Whedon. He was fifty-seven years old. He went to St. Louis twenty-seven years ago to take a position in the office of the collector of internal rev enue for that district, and since had been in the office continuously. WARSAW, Ind., June 29.—Dr. C. M. Clay ton, an old and prominent physician of this city, fell dead in his office this morn ing as the result of a stroke of paralysis, following a long sickness. Dr. Clayton had practiced medicine in this city for twenty-five years. For many years he had been paralyzed on the left side, but never theless answered all calls, day or night, and often drove many miles to see a pa tient in the night during a storm. BLOOMINGTON, Ind., June 29.—A mes sage from Chicago announces the death of Frederick Dodds, a well-known young man of Bloomington. He was one of the man agers of a large department store. The funeral will be held at the Presbyterian Church here tomorrow.~* * * Joseph G. Stull, a well-known lumber dealer, died today after a long illness, aged fifty-eight. BROWNSTOWN, Ind., June 29.—Philip L. Davis, aged 71, died at his home in Wallo nia Sunday evening. He served in the civil war as lieutenant and held the office of justice of the peace for a number of years. seen widow and three grown children sur vive.
