He wished to know whether the society would be compelled to pay the whole amount ?Mr, Ingham said they would decidedly have to pay the whole amount of the defalcations. The prisoner would be sent for trial for certain amounts, but before he was convicted the judge would inquire the total amount of the sums he bad embezzled and the society would have to pay what they really were.Tbe prison3r was then locked up.
