EREAS Rufus Wells, on the ninth by day of March, A. D. one thousand eight hundred and twenty one, by inden ture of release by way of mortgage, re corded in the clerk’s office of Cayuga county, in Book H of Mortgages, pages two hundred and ninety six, c. for secu ring the payment of six hundred and fif teen dollars and forty three cents, with interest, as therein specified, did release and convey to David Hyde, John H. Beach, and Ebenezer S. Beach, all that parcel of land, being a part of lot number thirty nine in the East Cayuga Reserva tion, now in the town of Aurelius, and bounded as follows—on the north by the north line of the lot; on the east by the east line of the lot; on the south by the south line of the lot ; on the west by the land of Samuel Ellis, containing about one hundred and ninety acres of land, be the same more or less, excepting and reserv ing out of the same, seventeen acres, sit uated in the south west corner of said parcel of land—Anard whereas default has been made in the payment of a part of the said sum of money, which said sum so remaining unpaid, amounts at this date, to two hundred and fifty one collars and forty nine cents--Norice is therefore hereby given, that the said mortgaged premises, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to pay the said sum of money due, will be sold by virtue of a power contained in said mortgage, in pursuance of the statute in such case made and pro vided, at publick vendue, at the American Hotel, in the village of Auburn, kept by Thomas Noyes, of the twenty fourth day of August next.—Dated Auburn, Februa ry 24th, 1830. D. 1825, by indenture of release by way of Mortgage, recorded in the Clerk’s office of Cayuga county, in book 3, of mortgages, pages four hundred and fifteen, c. for securing the payment of four hundred dollars, with interest, as therein speci fied, did release and convey to John H. Beach and Ebenezer 5. Beach ail that certain lot in the village of Auburn, and county of Cayuga, lately occupi ed by Andrew Russell, and bounded as follows :—On the north by a tier of vil lage lots then owned by Jesse Casey, Nathaniel Ward, and Isaac Barnum; of the East by a village lot occupied by Adol phus Bassett; on the West by a lot then occupied by John Kilburn, jun. and on the South by Chapel street, with a messu age—and whereas Geraini has been made in the payment of the said sum of four hundred dollars with interest, which said sum, with the interest unpaid amounts to the sum of four hundred and twentynine dollars and fiftynine cents, the sums claimed to be due on said Mortgage at this date— notice is therefore hereby given, that by virtue of a power contained in said Mort gage, and in pursuance of the Statute in such case made and provided, the safe Mortgaged premises will be sell at pub lick vendue, at the American Hotel, kept in the village of Auburn, County of Cay uga, by Thomas Noyes, on the twenty seventh day of July next.~Dated the 27th January, 1830, JOHN H. D. 1817, by indenture of release by way of Mortgage, registered, and the power recorded in the Clerk’s office of Cayuga county, in the book of mortga ges, page two hundred, for securing the pay ment of two hundred and fifty dollars, with interest,as therein specified did release and convey unto David Hyde, John H. Beach, and Ebenezer S. Beach, all that parcel of land situated in the village of Auburn, being a part of lot number forty-six in the old township of Aurelius, and county of Cayuga, and bounded as follows :—begin ning at the southwest corner of a lot belonging to Jacob Elliott, running thence west two and a half rods, thence north fourteen rods, thence east two and a half rods, and thence fourteen rods to the place b beginning :—And whereas default has been made in the payment of the said sum of two hundred and fifty dollars and interest, which said sum of money and interest unpaid amounts to four hundred and fifty five dollars and forty seven cents, the sum claimed to be due on the paid mortgage at this data—Nomice is there fore hereby given that by virtue of a power contained in the said mortgage, and in pur suance of the statute in such case Madeane provided,the said mortgaged premises will be sold at publick vendue at the American Hotel, kept in the said village of Auburn, County of Cayuga, by Thomas Noyes, on the twenty-seventh day of July next.— Dated the 27th of January, 1830. D. 1828, by indenture of release by way of mortgage recorded in the Clerk’s office of Cayuga County, in book M, of mortgages, page four hun dred and eighty-one c. for securing the payment of five hundred and fifty-one dol lars, with annual interest, as therein spe cified, did release and convey to Russet Brown all that certain piece of land dis tinguished as a part of Lot number thirty in the Town of Sempronius, and bounded as follows ; beginning at a stake and stone standing on the east bank of the mill creek, thence east along the south line of said lot fifty dams and eighty links to the centre of the highway, thence north twenty-eight degrees west thirteen chains and fifty-two links to a stake in the centre of said high way, thence west parallel with the south line of said fot thirty-four chains and se venty-three links to a stake and stone, thence south thirty degrees west eleven chains and twelve links, (thence south fifty nine degrees west four chains and fifty- one links to the place of beginning, con taining fifty acres and eighteen rods of land) be the same more or less, and whereas default has been made it the pay ment of the said sum of five hundred and fifty-one dollars, with interest, which said sum, with the interest unpaid, amounts to the sum of four hundred and ninety dol lars and ninety-three cents, the sum claim ed to be due on said mortgage at this date. Notice is therefore hereby given that by virtue of a power contained in said mort gage, and in pursuance of the stable in such case made and provided, the said mortgaged premises will be cold at the Bank. SHERIFF’s SALE, ‘A virtue of Execution to me directed , and delivered, against the goods, chat tels, lands and tenements of Royal Torry, I shall sell as the law directs, at the Ameri can Hotel, in Auburn, on the seventh day of July vert, a ten ¢’clock in the forenoon, his right, title and interest, to ‘All that cer tain piece or parcel of land, situate, lying and being, in and near the village of Mon tezuma, County of Cayuga, and State of New-York, and described as follows—to wit: Number one (1) of the farm lots on that part of land formerly owned by the Cayuga Manufacturing Company lying be tween the Turnpike Read on the North, the Erie Canal on the South, land of James Secket on the East, and Salt street op the West, containing fifteen acres and ninety eight hundredths of an acre of land, as the same was surveyed by Oxen Forman in May, eighteen hundred and twenty-four, and described by him on a map of such survey now on file in the Clerk's Office of the County of Cayuga. Also, numbers eight and ten (8) and (10) of the village lots contained in the above mentioned tract, and lying on the East side of Salt street, as the same is laid down on the top above mentioned. Also, lots number ten (10) and three (3) in tract of land situ ate between Salt street on the East, the Seneca River on the West, and lands own ed by the Cayuga Manufacturing Company on the South, and Salt Creek on the North, as the same was surveyed by Owen For man in May, eighteen hundred and twenty four, and described by him on a map of such survey on file in the Clerk’s Office of the County of Cayuga.”—Dated Au burn.
