BARRY ALLEN BROCKWAYHawkeye - Barry Allen Brockway was born Aug. 11, 1883. He was the son of George F. and Sarah (Lease) Brockway. On Aug. 6, 1908, he was united in marriage to Minnie Houser at Hawk-eye and the couple farmed north of Hawkeye their entire life.Due to failing health he entered the Fayette county hospital and died there on June 15 at the age of 88.Survivors are: one sister, Miss Myra Brockway, a resident of the Good Samaritan home; one nephew, Noel Brockway; and one niece, Mrs. Judd (Grace) Van-Brocklyn.He is preceded in death by his wife, Minnie, in 1966; his parents; one brother, Major Brockway; two sisters, Mary and Kathy.Services were held June 19 atthe United Methodist Church atAlpha with Rev. Edward Cass officiating. Pallbearers were Edwin Wurzer, Gerald Westen-dorf, Raymond Scholl, Ralph Page, Dale Conklin and Adel-bert Ott. Burial was in the Wau~ coma cemetery with Emerson-Milnes Funeral Home in charge.
