Murray Post 27, American Legion, held Thursday night, June 22.Linzey will succeed Johnnie Oswald, as head of Die Legion Post.Other officers elected are Graliam C. Hendricks, vice-commancler; Mike Connors, adjutant; Toni Taff, chaplain; and Justo Galindo, re-elected sergeant-uL-arm,s.Other out-going officers include Billy I*'. Kidd, vice-commander; Cecil Lusty, adjutant; and Carter Sloan, chaplain.The Legion Post will again sponsor the annual San Saba County Old Settlers lleunion and the date for this event was set for Saturday, Aug. 19. Legion members want all the Old Settlers to begin to make plans to attend the festivities for that day.
