Swimming Pool Clean And “No Disease,” Says Dr. York Repair work at Moore Park, ne cessitated by the recent floods, was completed Friday, P. J. Schmidt, superintendent of the park, an nounced. Twelve men were employed for several days in replacing the foot bridges, cutting the grass, clearing the debris and spraying the pecan trees. No Trace of Disease :The pool was cleaned out and there is absolutely no traces of dis ease in the pool. The water is changed two times weekly and in spected by City Health Officer D. A. York. A four-inch stream pours into the pool continually and keeps a good circulation, Schmidt de clared. “The showers and foot dip are compulsory before anyone is al lowed to enter the pool and there is positively no danger of athlete's foot or any other diseases being contracted,” Schmidt stated. Debris from the overflowing creek filled the pool, washed away foot bridges and covered the park for several days following the cloud burst.
